Great Time on our cruise by Ruth B from Portland, OR
Sailing date: Jan 2010

Pros:
The ship in general, the gentle rock was soothing on an otherwise busy place

Cons:
Very crouded

Had a great time, my servers Nadia and Fernando, in the Monet were the best, the pools are small but that was ok. It was a little crouded and noicey on the forward end of the Lido but I had sooooo much fun I'm ready to go again

A good cruise by Teresa W from Ramona, CA
Sailing date: Jan 2010

Pros:

Cons:
disembarking for shore excursions

The ship is larger than anticipated. It was always kept very clean. Only draw back seemed to be the casino area was always very smoky and radiated to some of the adjoining areas

Dining/Food
The sit down restaurants served gourmet meals presented very elegant, even for breakfast and lunch meals. The buffet food had a wide variety but the quality of the food is mediocre.

Cruising the Western Caribbean by A Traveler from Dallas, TX
Sailing date: Dec 2006

Pros:
The food was fantastic, and the staff was excellent

Cons:
Would have liked the port stops to be staggered out more - 2.5 days at sea, then 3 days in ports

The Carnival Conquest Ship was good (first experience so nothing else to compare to). There was usually many activities going on around the ship. I was surprised at the size of the swimming pools, they were more for wading then swimming. The options for dining were varied, from casual to dress attire, it was nice to have an option. One thing we discovered was the number of "older" people on the cruise. If you are looking for more of a "young" party type crowd and activities, check to see if the ship is catering to those activities or not.

Great time on Carnival by bill s from alaska
Sailing date: Nov 2006

Pros:
Swim with the Stingrays Grand Cayman

Cons:
Waterfall at Ocho Rios

Fun ship. Clean. Good Intertainment. Too many smoking areas in public spots as in the main lobby. Areas where non smokers could not avoid. My wife is allergic to smoke! Could have been a perfect cruise.

Fantastic Cruise !!! by Diana V from Puyallup, WA
Sailing date: Jun 2006

Pros:
Dining room, outstanding service in our stateroom, the entertainment.

Cons:
It was a little inconvient to find restrooms.

This was our first cruise, It was fantastic !! The ship was more then we ever imagined. The layout was great, ample space for lounge chairs around the pool area. The service was outstanding, getting off and back on board ship was handled so effiecently with so many people.

The only issue we had was up on the Lido deck, you could never find a clean table, they would always take the dirty dishes etc. off but never wipe the tables off, on several occasions I went to the staff & ask for a towel to wipe my own.

Entertainment & Activities
My spouse tried on several occassions to connect with the golf pro, it took 2hrs. to finally track him down, the employees at the information desk didn't have much information regarding that, the daily ship paper had 10AM for golf lessons, he didn't show up until noon. That was our only issue. The overall quality for entertainment & activities was great
