Very Clean. They were always doing some to keep the upkeep. Ship Details: Ship Quality I loved how they put a book in our room to explain the decor. it explian alot. Dining/Food Our Matri D and Waiter was Awesome and excellent. Very personable which made for a very nice trip. Stateroom Quality Very suprise the bed was very comfortable. Our steward rocked. The first day when we left port he came in and introduced himself and was exceptional. Ship Staff Quality Wonderful.. Always said hello, good day or how is everything. And if there was something they went above and beyond to help. Entertainment & Activities We liked the show.. Would have loved to go to st. lucious instead. We did not do much here. Basseterre, St. Kitts We did not do any boat appointed things. We rented a cab and went all over the island and this was my favorite island. Philipsburg, St. Maarten It was ok. We went to the beach, but the town was not what I would expect it to be. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Balcony great cruise by lori b from alaska Sailing date: Sep 2008 Pros: boy it is hard to say everyone and everything was so wonerful Cons: a women named (s )at the front desk was always in a bad mood. from the first hour when we were asking one qusetion and until we simply asked where the bus would be when we left the boat. we were on the carnival cruise the miracal ship and it was wondderful. the time of the vacation was great( 8 days) the staff great and ports were fun and the tours were great. it was are first time and we can't say enough good things about the crew. are dinner crew were great and the people that did are room went over the top. very fun and nice people we had are 20 anniv and it was everthing we were looking for. thank-you very much. Ship Details: Ship Quality great size of ship not to small or to big you couldn't get lost. Dining/Food can you make sure your photo people make their way to nik and nora's supper cub we were in are best fress for are 20 anniv and would of like are pictures taken up there. Stateroom Quality the room was big and had enough room you din't get that closet feeling. Ship Staff Quality are room stewards were great and the people that waited on are dinner crew were so very nice. Entertainment & Activities every thing was just right. Don't Miss: the swim is not to be missed. cheap and you shop on the way back. Tortola, British Virgin Islands we went to swim with the dolphins not somehing you would want to mis. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: 2 - 3 cruises Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Suite A great trip by Kerrie S from Kodiak, AK Sailing date: Nov 2006 Pros: beautiful ship Cons: Belize; ship doesn't carry sunscreen The Miracle was a great ship. Wonderful rooms, great food, friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this ship. Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Costa Maya were great ports. Belize leaves a lot to be desired. If we weren't booked on an excursion, I would not have left the ship. We did a lost canopy zip line tour in Belize which was really fun. Costa Maya does not require any type of excursion. Take a taxi to the town/beach and hang out fo the day or just stay by the port and swim in the pool. A nice relaxing port. Be sure to bring your own sunscreen, the ship doesn't have anything over spf 4. Overall a fabulous cruise! Ship Details: Ship Quality The ship is clean and new. The rooms were good size. I recommend a balcony room. They are worth it! I never felt crowded on this ship. The ship is decorated to the nines and there are alot of public hang out areas. Dining/Food Food was wonderful and there was a ton of it. You will not go hungry on the Miracle. I did not eat in Nick & Noras, the upgraded dinng room. At $30 per person I thought it was a bit too expensive, especially because the food in the regular dining room was great. Stateroom Quality We booked a balcony stateroom and were upgraded to a suite. It was beauitful. Larger than a regular balcony room and decorated a bit more lavishly. Even a regular balcony rrom is good size and comfortable. The balcony was totally worth it. Ship Staff Quality The staff was nice and helpful. Entertainment & Activities The entertainment was good. Mostly a lot of comedians, all of whom were great. They did hire a sword swallower one night who was terrible. I doubt if he'll be back. Do an excursion or stay on the ship. It is a rundown country. the minimum wage for Belizeans is $7 per week. Not sure who is getting rich from the cruiseships but its not the people. That said, the people seemed nice and were more than willing to talk about their country. The lost canopy zipline tour was alot of fun and worth the 1 hour bumpy bus ride to get there. Costa Maya, Mexico This was my favorite port. People were very nice and the area is quite pretty. Not sure how long it will last as they are doing a lot of building. No need for an excursion. The port area has a free pool to hang out at or you can take a cab into town and sit on the beach. Nice port, very relaxing. Cozumel, Mexico Mostly we shopped and spend the afternoon at Chakanaab (sp?) park. Taxi to shopping is $6 and to Chakanaab is $10. Everyone speaks english and getting around is really easy. Vendors are pushy, just ignore them. Don't let them gulty you into going into a store if you don't want to. Cozumel got hit really hard by hurrican Wilma and they are still recovering. Chakanaab park is up and running but is a far cry from its former glory. It is still worth going to hang out on the beach or to see the dolphins. The reef is barely there and it will be several years before it comes back. Chananaab is a nice break from the crowds and the pushy vendors in town. George Town, Grand Cayman We did a snorkelling excursion that went ten feet from the ship. But it was only $40.
